Whether you choose to forage in the forest, your own garden or the local grocery store, I’m here to help you make the most of what nature has to offer. Indulgent, healthy and beautiful food doesn’t have to be difficult! Come with me on a journey of self discovery to find your inner home chief!

Foraging simply means relying on food provided by nature. You get to decide what that means.
I used to believe I wasn’t a good cook… It was easier to rely on a restaurant or meals out of a box. When I planted my first backyard garden, my view of food completely changed. I realized that fresh, whole foods taste better, look more beautiful and most of all nourish better. Over the last ten years I have been on a journey of self discovery surrounding my relationship with food.
What have I learned?
- Anyone can cook amazing food.
- Natural foods make cooking more fun.
- Cooking is art and science at once.
- Home cooked meals are healthier.
- Cooking brings families together.
- Nature provides everything we need.
Gathering and experimenting with different ingredients is my favorite part!
When you’re first starting out, even if you cook occasionally but not on a regular basis, stick to ingredients you are already familiar with. Once you’ve given yourself time to get more comfortable in the kitchen, start adding ingredients and recipes you are less familiar with. This simple act of veering from your norm can make cooking an exciting activity.
When you’re ready to start experimenting take it slow.
Step 1: Look around your local grocery store for fresh ingredients you have never tired or maybe never even heard of! Get creative!
Step 2: Grow some ingredients of your own! You can start with veggies or herbs or you can dive all the way in with fruit trees or chickens!
Step 3: Once you’re ready and you have done sufficient research, you can get out there in nature and find even more unique ingredients to experiment with!
I am excited to help and inspire you every step of the way!
I’m glad you’re here! Let’s get into it!
